Autumnal Farmer's Market

We went to one of our favourite farmer's markets this weekend, in order to pick up some good ingredients for Thanksgiving.  Evergreen Brick Works Farmer's Market is a popular market, and comparatively pretentious; but, it has pretty decent quality and we can usually find what we're looking for.


This time we were looking for some good sweet potatoes, potatoes, and some good herbs.  We ended up coming away with most of that, and some other things which were just really delectable, and in season right now in Ontario.


My wife loves apples; they're her favourite fruit.  So we couldn't resist these gala apples.  We'd already eaten a few before taking this picture.  :)

Autumnal Apples
